How to upgrade
If you are currently a Reason 6 or Reason Essentials owner, you can upgrade FREE to Reason 6.5.
How do I get Rack Extensions then?
Rack extensions can be purchased from the Propellerheads Store
In case you don’t know, Reason 6.5 is introducing the new feature that is Rack Extensions – a way of expanding the number of devices available to you from within the Reason rack. With the exception of Pulsar, they are paid for devices, ranging from 39 Euros to 99 Euros (although if any free ones come up, I will keep you posted). The selection is limited at the moment, but from what I’ve heard so far there are some incredible racks out there from some of the big names in the industry.
Until October 1st, Pulsar is Free. Get it here.
The update is 3.31GB in size and is available for Windows and Mac. You will need to have a Propellerheads account and a registered copy of Reason 6 or Reason Essentials to be entitled for the upgrade.
