It looks as though Propellerheads are getting in the action of their new Rack Extensions add on in Reason 6.5.
They are releasing two new rack extensions (and I don’t suppose they will be releasing a couple more?).
The pulsar is an LFO (Low Frequency Ocillator), but is being claimed to be a synthesiser in its own right, and judging by the sounds, it is sounding pretty good:
The next rack extension is something, in my personal opinion, is way overdue from the Propellerheads. Aside from the official Reason Pianos Refill, the new Radical Pianos rack extension looks like it could be a winner:
There is another rack extension called Polar that will have its details announced soon.
Still looking forward to what the third party developers have to offer, but so far I have not seen any news on that front. Remember the check out the Props site often for news.
On Soundcloud? Be sure to check out the Props there too.
EDIT – it appears that these rack extensions will not be free. Pulsar will be free for the first three months, while the other extensions will not be free.
